Drawing Critique #4

This critique was focused on two point perspective. We still needed to use contour line, sighting and measuring, and organizational line. Before we hung up our drawing, I heard people talking about how theirs was terrible. Once everyone hung theirs up, it looked like they knew what they were doing. I thought that we all grasped the concept pretty well. Some drawings had curved floors and sideways walls. This was understandable because we aren’t allowed to use rulers. That is so difficult for me! I have a really hard time eye-balling my horizontal and vertical lines. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist so I don’t like when my lines aren’t correctly level. In my drawing, one of the doors wasn’t correctly in perspective and was out of proportion. I didn’t notice this until I hung it up on the wall. When I was drawing my project, I never stepped away and looked at it from afar. I need to start doing this so I can see if I am messing something up. hopefully I can improve on my lines and stepping away from my project.
