Drawing Critique #6

I was very impressed with our class today. You could tell that we needed a break from only contour lines. There were a few drawings that actually captured the darkest values. Most everyone’s were an even tone of grey (including mine). It seemed that we all understood the concept of cross hatching. Only two or three drawings had extremely light cross hatching. I thought this project was one of the harder projects. It is extremely time consuming, especially when you are drawing and shading on a larger scale. I spent a lot of time layering the cross hatching. It looks more complete this way. I also made sure that the shading went with the lines of the objects. Overall, I think we did well on this project.
